I used to go to A's games when I lived in San Jose, but I hate that park. Nothing worse than watching baseball in a football stadium.
As for the Tigers, they worry me. If their starting pitching continues to be unreliable, they might be in a fight -- for the Wild Card. Instead of running out of steam like they did toward the end of last season, perhaps they'll get out toward the end of the season and carry that momentum into the playoffs. As it stands now, they desperately need Zumaya back. I think they should trade for a starting pitcher, too. Roy Oswalt? Of course, I'm worried about what they would have to give up. I'm worried about Rogers and Robertson. You don't need great pitching from your 5 (Robertson), but Kenny doesn't have much left IMO. Hope I'm wrong. But Kenny ain't getting any younger. Why not make a deal to get Oswalt? Give the Astros any prospects they want along with Infante, who can play 2B after Biggio retires. Imagine a staff with Bonderman, Verlander, Oswalt and Miller?
