Chris McCosky / The Detroit News AUBURN HILLS -- Chauncey Billups couldn't believe it.
"For real?" he asked, incredulous, when he was told the Pistons were one of the worst teams in the league at converting layups and tip-ins last season.
"In losing four straight to the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference finals last season, the Pistons missed 40 layups or tip-ins. In Game 3, they missed seven layups and lost by six points; Game 4, they missed 11 layups and lost by four; Game 5, they missed 12 layups and lost by two; Game 6, they missed 10 layups and lost by 16."
Pistons turn focus to finishing shots
Pretty interesting.
