The Buzz: Beasley finally had a "bad" game, and it still was a double-double: 13 points and 10 rebounds in an 82-69 victory over Rider.
2. Eric Gordon, Indiana
Season Averages: 27 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.6 apg
The Buzz: Gordon had his "worst" game, too: 20 points, three assists and two rebounds in an 80-65 loss to Xavier. It was the first game in which he shot less than 50 percent (4-for-12).
3. Derrick Rose, Memphis
Season Averages: 16.6 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 2.8 apg
The Buzz: Rose capped a bad week for our top three freshmen with his weakest showing: four points, six rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes against Arkansas State.
4. O.J. Mayo, USC
Season Averages: 21.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.3 apg
The Buzz: Mayo shot the ball well last week (19 of 38 for 50 percent), but he had seven assists and 13 turnovers.
5. Kyle Singler, Duke
Season Averages: 14.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg
The Buzz: Singler had a career-high 25 points and seven rebounds in a big win over No. 11 Marquette, but had a career-low seven points in the follow-up against Eastern Kentucky.
6. Kevin Love, UCLA
Season Averages: 19.3 ppg, 10.5 rpg
The Buzz: Michigan State's big, deep front line held him to 6-of-15 shooting, but he got to the line 12 times and finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds in a big 68-63 victory.
