Chris Sheridan has his top 10 trade rumours up. Pistons mentioned in two of them:
ESPN - Trade Watch: The 10 players most likely to be traded - NBA 6. Flip Murray, Pistons Detroit still wants to clear a roster spot to sign Chris Webber, and Murray has more value than the two other players the Pistons are most willing to trade -- Ronald Dupree and Nazr Mohammed.
Herrmann
8. Walter Herrmann, Bobcats ...during the fourth quarter Sunday night when "Fabio" had a brief spurt against Detroit in which he lived up to his billing as the second coming of Andres Nocioni. The Pistons are among the contending teams that would be willing to take a flyer on the forward who many remember as the difference-maker when Argentina defeated the U.S. in the semifinals of the Athens Olympics.
Both of these rumors scare me. Either we're trying to bring back Webber, or we're going after another PF. Either way, it looks like Amir is this years Human Victory Cigar.
And, even worse, what does this do to JMax? After being given big minutes this year, he has improved in almost every aspect of his game; D, ft shooting, d-rebounding. I'd hate to see him go back to 15 mpg after all the work and improvement he's done.
