This is pretty interesting about the day off in Philly before last night's game.
Spirited practice turns Pistons' fortunes
For me the really interesting part is the end, about Flip Murray.
"I've been in this situation before, know what they're trying to do here, as far as developing the young fellas, me being a veteran, I've seen that before. I know what it takes for a team to be able to do that." "(Murray stays positive by) just knowing it's tomorrow. Tomorrow, I might have a chance to play." Murray was asked if he thought his days with the Pistons were numbered. "I'm not talking about that," Murray said. "I don't know. If I am (traded), I am. If I'm not, I'm not."
That's a tough row to hoe. "Tomorrow, I might have a chance to play." I guess it's important to remember sometimes there are real living, thinking, feeling human beings under those uniforms.
