Re: Amir Johnson - Detroit Piston Tracker The Amirzing One Quote:
The game, although decided much earlier, ended on a semi-dramatic note when the bench players strung together a series of plays that got the remaining crowd and the starters on their feet.
First Amir Johnson saved a ball by diving into the first row of seats. He then sent the ball to rookie Arron Afflalo, who nailed a 16-footer near the shot-clock buzzer. The Bobcats raced down the court and looked like they were going to get a dunk, but with Johnson contesting, Jermareo Davidson's emphatic slam attempt bounced off the rim.
The Pistons got the rebound, and Stuckey headed up the court for a driving dunk over former Eastern Michigan standout Earl Boykins. Then Johnson stole the ball from Charlotte, and Afflalo got a wide-open breakaway dunk, for which Billups jokingly chided him in the locker room.
"That was terrible," Billups said. "First Stuckey goes down and has a driving dunk, dunking over someone. Then he follows it with that."
