Billups flew back to Detroit before the team's practice on Friday. It was not immediately known when he would rejoin the team. The Pistons game against the Clippers marks the end of their current road trip. They play home against Seattle on Tuesday.

Hopefully it isn't anything too serious. Might be a loss now at the Clippers without him, but if there's any game on this trip that's not an automatic L with him out of the lineup, it's this one.
