The Cavs need to hold on to the 4th seed to ensure homecourt advantage in at least one series in the playoffs, because they do not play well on the road (16-20) having dropped their last four ( at Bulls, Nets, Wiz, Magic) games. This will be the first time this season the Pistons face Big Ben in his Cavs uni.

The only previous meeting between the Cavs and Pistons resulted in a 109-74 Pistons route which saw the Piston reserves erupt for 45 points, and LeBron leaving the game in the 2nd Q because of a finger injury back in November.

There are two games reamaining between these teams in the regular season, at home and away.
