I would guess that it would be time to rebuild somewhat if the team lets us down again. But would losing to Bostons consitute an upset?

The tired excuse may have some merit behind it, again I point to item 1. Joe D or Flip couldn`t realize the starters weren`t being played to death over the past several years?
I wouldn`t exactly say it was a choke job the last couple of years, I would say the Pistons were clearly out played, outcoached, and their opponents wanted it more than they did!!
We keep hearing how experienced this team is and how well they play down the stretch of games. I honestly believe the players believe that something magical will happen sometimes instead of actually executing, playing aggressively and being focused enough to win BIG GAMES!!
Again, I can`t put all the blame on Flip, afterall, these are experienced veterans that "know how to win"

If you were Flip and came to this team would you think that only having a couple of starters in the top 50 MPG wise and no one in the top 10 league wise would give an indication that they could not handle the mins?
I think a big strike against us was making any kind of a coaching change. Thats always a gamble no matter who the new coach is.
Maybe they will get it right this time?
