Afflalo actually began the season as a starter when Hamilton missed the first two games for the birth of his son. The team is 3-0 with Afflalo in the starting lineup, but he is resigned to the fact that when Hamilton recovers, his minutes likely will disappear again.
"It's part of the nature of this," Afflalo said. "I just have to be ready, got to stay hungry and got to stay mentally tough. That's what this is about, and it's only going to help me in the long run."
