It may be true. You do not hear more insightful or intelligent sentences even from "true" coaches like pop or zenmaster during halftime interviews. At least I haven't.
And there are many, many coaches who do not like to discuss lockerroom tensions publicly and therefore to press they say polite things but in lockerrom
