I think Posey opted out because he was gambling someone would offer him something close to the full MLE, for four or five years. The Celtics can use their full MLE to sign either of these guys. As can the Pistons if Joe D is willing to spend it all on one player. I believe Orlando has also offered the MLE to Maggette.
