These past losses can be blamed on many things.
1. Biggest reason, our coach. Flip was the biggest loser you could possibly hire. He looked like he was sleeping instead of coaching. I said from day one when they hired him, were not gonna win anything. We wasted valuable time, because now our stars have gotten older and are out of their prime.
2. DETROIT FANS SUCK NOW! Did you guys remember how loud are fans were, when we won the championship. Do you guys remember how the commentators were always saying wow, I cant even hear myself. Well watch a pistons playoff game now. I say we are the quietest crowd in the NBA right now.
NO ONE STANDS UP, EVERYONE SITS AND EATS LIKE A BUNCH OF BUMS. Maybe we should watch an Atlanta game, Utah game, or golden state game. Those are FANS! They get hyped just on about anything. They all stand up and yell DEFENSE, and make noise. Our fans sit down in triple overtime and watch and make no noise. There is no point to our home court advantage.

You have a valid point about the fans. They were very sedated almost during some games when they should have been going nuts. Perhaps, the fans acted exactly like the team played!!
Mikhail is correct, a little youth running up and down the floor will inject more excitement in the crowd. A Kwame swat followed by a Josh Smith stuff would bring much noise to the Palace.
However, Tay backing someone down for 12 seconds and Sheed acting like there is an invisible electric fence about 23 feet from the basket will keep everyone in their seats, yawning and extremely frustrated for another year.
