Detroit doesn't deserve to win. They're playing JV basketball right now....

Re: Round 3 game 6 - Friday June 2 Pistons at Miami

This WAS a winnable game. No defense, no offense and no coaching. We have no concept of what we are doing on either end of the court. No adjustments to Shaq.

On offense, Rip and Billips driving into nothing time and time again. All teams have to do is get up on Billips and there is no adjustment. Rip hit that shot on the wing when the clock ran out because he had to pull up. Usually, he would drive into nothing. We do not use our players to their strenghts but to their weaknesses (coaching)

Next year, we need someone who can actually penetrate, a proven scorer and someone who can play perimeter defense.

Re: Round 3 game 6 - Friday June 2 Pistons at Miami

A moderately entertaining game.

I liked how Wade was playing free safety and completely ignoring Evans in the corner when Mo was in the game.

I liked Chauncey Billups getting outplayed by Lindsey Hunter ... again.

I liked Rip Hamilton and Rasheed showing up when the game was already over. I liked that the team never ran sets through them before that.

I liked Prince shrivelling up into a ball.

I liked Ben Wallace being outplayed by Dale Davis and Kelvin Cato, neither of whom even took off their warmups but still managed to be more into the game than the franchise player was.

I liked the missed open shots.

I liked the coaching. Especially the zone defense.

I LOVED the man-to-man defense.

No - I didn't like any of that, but I can't say that I disliked it either. It was more funny than anything else. After all, as Chauncey says (and not just about his rape case) if it ain't rough, it ain't right, so if this game was all right for them it's all right with me.

Re: Round 3 game 6 - Friday June 2 Pistons at Miami

Well I turned the game off and its not even in the 4th yet. This is a shame. So much for home court advantage. I cant believe how flat the guys came out tonight. I cant believe I am going to say this but I think the run is over, as of tonight the Pistons have hit rebuild mode. This team lacks the heart to get it done. I dont know who will be gone but get ready for some moves, if not get ready for the teal era partII without the bad unis. I think I will go turn the game back on get sick turn the tv back off and start my 5 page apology to low(naaa would rather not) This sux.

I actually don't feel bad about the loss. We had no chance agains the Miami. Team needs an overhaul. I cheer for Miami in the finals.

Give Rily some credit. Without those role players he brought in the Heat would not have won this series. Night and day difference between Damon Jones choke job last season and J.Williams 10-11 shooting in this years game 6.

I agree Max. A couple of weeks ago I said Riley was an idiot for bringing in those role players, how quickly things can change.

Shaq and Wade were themselves, but Walker, Posey, J-Will, and even GP at times did what was needed.

How does Van Gundy feel about now?

Live and die by the jumper but for how long and how many can you miss? The last 8 or 9 games?WTF!?!I really thought they would come out tonight with some fire.Very embarrissing.Sickening but you could tell from the 1st quarter we were done.I've not liked any of the Miami players before they came to the Heat.I respect Wade's game but I will NOT cheer for Miami. The west needs to take it this year.
