| Re: Pistons/Sixers 1st Round Game 5, April 29th, 7:00 PM The Pistons have certainly earned some negativity from us with the way they've stunk it up in about half the quarters of this series. But I agree with max about how things were getting (and may still get) way over the top with people actively rooting for the Pistons to lose. The Boston-Atlanta series should make all of us a little more humble about what we do or don't know about how things are going to play out. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and believe me, I get as frustrated and angry as anyone when the Pistons go out there and suck. There really isn't any excuse for that in the playoffs. But the next time you find yourself wanting a negative result to happen in the playoffs just to hasten the demise of this core group of players and head coach, take a deep breath and get over yourself. |
