Professor, reading this column was a revelatory experience for me.I am pondering many things, Piston and non-Piston, as a result.
Particularly, I am intrigued at the idea that my efforts to control outcomes in life, Piston and non-Piston, actually remove me from the experience of life. Does that mean that when the Pistons go on an extended shooting drought, and I start having basketball affair fantasies about Steve Nash, that I am removing myself from the joy/pain life ride of the Pistons? I think it does.
Illuminating and humbling concept

and to think I found it on a Detroit Pistons message board!!
Yet another surprise, come to me, indirectly through this forum, from our unpredictably predictable Pistons!
