Coatesville thrilled by Rip’s visit

City residents young and old were thrilled to see Richard "Rip" Hamilton when the NBA star arrived at Ash Park on Friday afternoon.

Hamilton, the Detroit Pistons player who grew up in Coatesville and starred on the Coatesville Area Senior High School basketball team, was back in town on Friday to host the 7th Annual Rip City Celebration.
