Man, what a freaking season. The latest soap opera twist was tonight when John Gibbons (the teams manager) and starting pitcher Ted Lilly got into a yelling match on the mound which escalated into a wrestling match in the club house.  |
No kidding? I hadn't heard about the wrestling match. Seems like weird things always happen when we play the Sox. I have some vague memory of hundreds of records being thrown onto the field in an away game. Something about dj night?
Anyhow, I was feeling really discouraged after hearing about last nights loss. Today was a huge win, I think. Hopefully we can take the series.
