Re: Denver @ Detroit Sunday October 22

Kleiza got the better of Delfino IMO.

Nene had his way with whoever he wanted for most of the first half.

Prince played Melo tough, and they went back and forth at one another (rivalry) but it seemed like Melo got the best of Tay in the end, albeit by a little.

JMax got abused by Martin when he was guarding him and didn't really score a lot on KMart. The stat line is in JMax's favor, but I'd say KMart is still the teacher and JMax the student.

Blalock, rough day at the office.

I can't say that Flip Murray was particularly good.

And Billups allowed a lot of penetration. Way too much Andre Miller dancing around in the paint for my liking. Denver has too many scorers to allow a so-so finisher like Miller to set up his perimeter scorers.

This isn't defense specific but Dice is just slow. I know I am probably approaching "player hater" territory, but he hasn't been very good in the last year, and I see more of the same. Ill-timed fouls, slow rotations, passive defense and even more passive offense.

The Nugs have our #. It's like 2004 all over again with the Nets. Billups has to be a hot outside shooter (see last year's Suns away game) and the team has to rebound and make hustle plays to hang with these fun'n gun squads. Quite simply, this is not a very fast team. Athletic as all get out, but not very quick.
