Hill is creating these controversies himself with his own statements by intimating that either A) the Pistons medical brain trust or B) the fans of Detroit are partially to blame for his injuries. Hill has always reminded me of one of those guys who puts on a really nice face, but always has something slick to say behind closed doors.

Steve Kerr even alluded to the fact that the fans in Detroit were somehow to blame for making Hill feel like they thought he was soft. So, he injured himself trying to prove something to us.

...to hell with that stuff.

If he retires and goes away fine. He's rich, enjoy it. Just go away and don't bother wasting our salary cap with any thoughts of coming back to Detroit.
