I'm not sure what to think of the Arroyo situation. From a statistical standpoint and a team standpoint, he outperformed Nelson all year long. Yet, he always seemed to be in Hill's doghouse.
You all saw what Nelson did in game 3. I think that performances like that cemented him in Hill's mind as having more potential than Arroyo, even though it happened infrequently.
Even in the playoffs, Milicic and Arroyo led the team in Roland Rating and +/- while Battie and Nelson were on the bottom.
In a 4 game sweep, both Arroyo and DM were both breakeven or better.
