I don't agree. Sheed and McDyess are old. Amir perhaps can take over the starting role in a year or two, but then who is going come off the bench? J-Max is a sitituitonal player. You can only play him when the match up is favorable. I still say you always take the player with the most talent regardless of need. Just because you draft the guy doesn't mean you can't trade him later to feel a need. That is the problem with this team now Joe D. gutted our bench to the point there is no one that we can trade except Amir that has some real value.
