This is why not winning the title THIS year was so diappointing because of the 5 year itch thing. However, I dont see anyone in the EAST keeping us from making it 6 in a row, IF we sign Chauncey. Ive taken my traditional time off to calm down and realize Cb is the player TO GET US THERE, just not the one TO GET US OVER THE TOP. I believe three players can at least get us INTO the finals again:

1. JR CRITTENDON(draft) Im in ACC country and Im telling you, he's the penetrator we are looking for. A 'fearless' guard.

2. GRANT HILL(free agent). Basically it would be trading Delfino and Murray for Hill. He would back up Tay for 12 min and Rip for another 12. Or would you rather have Delf and Hunter back out there?

3. SHAWN MARION( trade for Sheed, Muhammad, Acker; add Banks from Suns). There's no POWER forward in the East, so a quicker, more consistent Matrix makes sense. We still need to fix our center slot though. Can CWebb go 25 bMPG for 1 more run as we draft a big to work with Dyess, max and Amir?
