Impressive and here's why I really like it: "president of basketball operations Joe Dumars told Saunders that it might be a good idea to get some of his weary veteran starters some rest." Detroit will be tough for the Celtics to beat if the bench plays a significant role. Keep playing them. Keep the starters sharp but rested. MAYBE there IS hope. |

Well we know Riley is tanking, playing d-leagures and 10 day contract guys. So far the Heat are four games ahead of the Sonics and six or so ahead of menphis and Minny for the right to have the most ping pong balls. Riles knows that #1's can lead to Championships as the Lakers took Magic #1 in 79 and Worthy #1 in 82 and he rode it to 5 rings in the eighties..... |
