Brand is damaged goods. He was when Philly signed him and then the damage got worse. Want no part of that.

Both excellent points.

I've always liked Brand. I even advocated trading Ben Wallace for Brand after the Championship was won, but Joe seems to be trending towards building a team around 23 year old Rodney Stuckey. He appears to want to construct a team that will be complementing Rodney when he is in the prime of his career.

If that is the case, Brand is not the answer.

The issue at hand is what Joe's answer is. Yours and mine are as irrelevant as the temperature in the Palace locker room.

Pretty critical of a 23 year old who showed the ability to drop 40 last year. The talent and potential are there, no need to knock the kid before he has a chance to develop.

I'm a 76ers fan and I would be glad if Brand will be traded,but I don't think it will happen.I think Brand can play at the same leval as he was in Clippers,but he must be healthy.Eddie Jordan knows how to use players like Brand.

Listen guys - We are not going to get a premier Center for Jason Maxiel and Kwame Brown. That's not going to happen.

Chandler missed a lot of games last year due to injury. The two previous season he avg around 12 RPG and was one of the best offensive rebounders in the league.

Question is do you want to tie up around 12 mil a year for the next 2 years with him? Guess that would only hurt us this year since Maxiel and Kwame will soak up 9 mil.

If Chandler stays healthy then it will be an improvement so why not. If he does stay non-injured then he will try every game and not this inconsistent stuff that we will get from Maxiel.

Why not?
Lakers have got Gasol for Brown (yes, yes - our Brown!), Crittenton (who is it?) and two draft picks. I think, Gasol is a player of a higher caliber than Chandler.
