Is Ben Gordon looking to play the point?

"We can play together," Gordon said. "I have no problem handling the basketball, creating plays for my teammates. That's a part of my game people haven't seen yet."

It looks as if one possibility none of us have thought about is Ben Gordon playing the point with Will B as his back up and R Stuck as Rip's back up. Now we all have visions of last season with the AI disaster at point but could be worth a try if we don't move Rip. Ben G spent time playing point in college as well so its not like he is unfamiliar with the position and probably couldn't be worse than Stucky.

Interesting. He actually has good handles and showed a nice pass once and a while. But I think this would be one of those "Epic Fails".

At the most he could maybe slide over to the PG spot for a spell or two.

Yeah but he was never really required to be a playmaker for the bulls, he was a score first option. I am by no means suggesting this is the answer for contention next season but could be an interesting possibility if we can't trade Rip.

He actually can make plays for the bulls, not sure if he can do it in our system.

Perhaps our system will be something spectacular like that of which we've never seen, and Ben Gordon will thrive in it.

Hopefully?

When Chauncey came here, no one thought he was a real PG either.

Ben Gordon isn't even a fake PG.

How many times does Joe have to see his twos failing as ones?

Even Vinnie Johnson was able to play spot minutes distributing the rock. I'd rather have Ben
initiate the offense than Prince myself.

He was at least a combo. Most don't even consider Ben Gordon a combo. He's just a short pure SG.
