for that matter, Rip says "Coatesville, Pennsylvania" instead of Uconn...

i wonder if these choices (and the ones that Chauncey, sheed, and ben make to identify by college) were the players or the producers...

Re: Most Valuable Piston

C-Bill is the MVP by far.

Prince is the Most Irreplacable Piston. If he went down, we'd have a huge defensive hole against wing players.

That is what I was getting at. Ben saying that he went to Virginia Union is pretty sweet.

MVP vs. irreplaceable... that is a very critical difference. I voted for Tay for that reason, because I don't think that we could replace him if he left... especially for his current price. If you went to the market to replace him, you'd have a lot less $ for the bench.

I think that Rip is probably second on the "difficult to replace" list.

All 5 are pretty unique in that way though.

Re: Most Valuable Piston

see look what happened tayshaun prince was in foul trouble during the second half, and the pistons couldn't finish the comeback. i wouldn't blame it all on prince not being able to be aggresive though.

Sheed's 3-point brick attack didn't help either.

I view that as most important, not most valuable. to me, most valuable means who has the biggest impact on the team.

Everyone has different definitions though.
