Re: Most Valuable Piston

my vote goes for carlos delfino. our starting 6 makes us great. our emerging bench led by carlos delfino is what might make us immortal. he is the key to our bench going from a weakness to a strenght. he is the key to keeping our starters rested for the playoffs. he is the key defensively to more athletic small forwards and guards that tay can't check.

without los we can win a championship.

with him we can go down as one of the greatest teams ever.

Re: Most Valuable Piston

The most difficult pole so far, due to the fact that on any given night, one of them leads the way...slightly.

Tho I don't think CB is a league MVP, he is the guy that makes all the Piston gears mesh, night-in-and-night-out. Points, 3's, clutch FT's, and assists (especially now that he's thrown in with some bench guys)...he's the guy that is the biggest team factor. Sheed, Ben, Tay, Rip, and even CB occasionally have off-nights. But CB is the most consistent team factor.

Now that I've sung his praises...I'll complain he's jackin too many 3's at inopportune times lately.

Re: Most Valuable Piston

That question is too hard. Man, I guess Chauncy. No...Sheed.

Well...Ben. Oh that hurts my head.

OK, Sheed. No...Chauncy...no...

Lets give it to Koby and make the whole world happy!

Re: Most Valuable Piston

Too tough to call.

But, whoever voted for "other" better not have had Darko in mind! I know who the LEAST valuable Piston is!

Re: Most Valuable Piston

i said rip. other guys can step up on any given night but thats usually when Rip slumps a little. Chauncy may be the hand the guides the spear but the point is Rip.

i think he's most valuable in our chance for immortality. i don't think any one person gone from our team will stop us from winning the championship this year.

but for us to be considered one of the greatest ever the bench is the key. delfino is the key to the bench. so that's how i got delfino as my mvp. he's just most valuable in my eyes because i want this team to be remembered as one of the greatest ever.

Good call. Rip is the best Piston who is still under the radar. Everyone knows how great Sheed, Ben and CB are. Tayshaun has been steady but not spectacular.

Rip has been flat out amazing as a 2 guard. I think he is twice the defender Chauncey is, and his all around game continues to improve.

Although, a case could be made for having Flip Saunders on that ballot.
