Joe Dumars....the player

Joe D, the GM, gets lots of criticism these days. Sometimes we forget how lucky we were to once have Joe D, the player.

Yeah.

Throw out the fact the one of those guys was an absolute lockdown defender, had a amazing b-ball IQ, a deadly jumper, displayed quiet and effective leadership and won a finals MVP and they're like twins.

The only difference I see is the additional 2 inches Stuckey has on Joe Dumars.

Other than that... absolutely no telling between the two!

How come after Zeke and the boys left, JD couldn't lead the team into the POs?

Actually, the Pistons did make the playoffs 3 of Joe's last 4 seasons (96, 97, and 99).
