You are right, everything about cost is king in this country and the NBA is no different.

There might be another insight available. An absence of character (even supremely talented) does not inspire. He couldn't get it done in Toronto and unless he piggy-backs with another high-tier all-star, he will never be a leader that can get you out alive.

totally agree, he's not a max player in my books.... he's a "pippen", but with all the capspace there is around the league this summer... he's bound to be overpaid.
