"Against that laundry list of possibilities, Joe Dumars stuck his $4 million a year in his pocket – or his $5 million or $6 million – and decided he wasn’t playing that hand. He’ll have all his chips in play when they get to a hand where the payoff is a little more enticing."

Let the Poo Poo platter begin baby!!!

Re: Rotations

Here are the heaviest and lightest traditional 5-man rotations that we can use.

Heaviest- 1,195 lbs. Average player weight = 239lbs

1) Stuckey- 205
2) Afflalo- 215
3) Sharpe- 245
4) Maxiell- 260
5) Brown- 270

Lightest- 1,043 lbs. Average player weight = 208 lbs

1) Bynum- 185
2) Rip- 193 (or Acker at 185)
3) Tay- 215
4) Amir- 225
5) Samb- 225

Not sure what value this will provide to the Pistons community, but I just couldn't sit on this information without revealing it.

This data would be more useful if you converted it to kilograms per 48 minutes.

Yeah, mass units would definitely be more helpful. Then they could easily be adjusted for lower-gravity atmospheres like Salt Lake City or the moon.

Re: Rotations

Sort of rotation related; CLE is planning on using Lebron at PF alot more; I wonder what our counter line-up would look like ?

If Lebron plays PF i'm assuming he's going to be posting up. Can Prince handle that? I don't think Rip can. Amir has the quicks but he would get pushed around. Sheed, i'm not sure. The best match-up might be Max at PF . . .

I realize this is completely premature, but just something i was thinking about. Also i read Ben might come off the bench and Varej-whatever will start.

In 1982 the original Washington Redskins' Hogs averaged 282.

It must be something in the water.

I remember somebody (I forget who) saying that Dyess is the most effective guy at checking LBJ.

Maxey might be the best matchup if LeBron plays the 3 also. He can get his body under him a little bit.
