I, for one, is tired of hearing about LeBron. I can't wait till this series is over. But trust me, after this series, they (the media world) will start in on D-Wade.

Re: I don't want to hate LeBron, but I do

I am not a Lebron fan nor a Lebron hater. I don`t understand why all the hate though. What do you guys expect him to do? Should he send out a memo to the NBA and say, uh excuse me but could you please stop putting me on this pedastal, and putting me on national TV, and allowing me to do all the commercials that are offered me, and making me out to be the future of this league?

He is a very young man that happens to be very talented in a low market sports city. To be honest he is handling this situation very well. He doesn`t seem to be arrogant and is handling his fame quite well for a 21 year old.

Now I admit, when Magic, Isiah, Bird, MJ came into the league there wasn`t the hype surrounding them that we see with Lebron. That was a different era. There was no media and marketing frenzy then that we see now in pro sports.

The NBA sees $$ when they look at King James, and he sees $$ when he looks back at them.

So, I guess you can hate him if you like, but I say direct the hate where it belongs, at the NBA and the companies that sell and promote products and services with Lebron`s likeness.

i've watched BM (Mustyburger) for 35 years since the NBA on CBS and if there is 'one' thing that he is ...is a HOMER announcer. He'd do the same in Detroit. He loves the home crowd and gets real subdued when the road team is winning( see 3rd qtr). It really takes away that he calls a real good game.

I really think that the NBA could have "hyped" the Pistons a little bit too. We only have one of the best starting 5 in NBA history.

I see why they like Lebron, but he did just have 2 straight seasons where he didn't make the playoffs. They should let him develop a little more before they embarrass him with the expectations.

Its no embarrassment. Nothing is expected from this kid except greatness, at the tender age of 21. He shows it and everyone eats it up 'cause its the show, if he loses he's got the excuse that he's young. Guy's like Garnett and Iverson don't have that excuse anymore, they didn't make it like the Duncans and the Wallaces.

Its just realistic though that LBJ can actually win a title...in the future. Its up to management now to build that team...and than hope that the Piston's plane crashes or a tornado hits their hotel - CAUSE THEY'RE NOT GONNA BEAT THE PISTONS ANYTIME SOON.

Frankly, I doubt he'll be in Cleveland during his next contract. God help us if he ends up in a major media center.

Re: I don't want to hate LeBron, but I do

The announcers were so frustrated with LeBron's nonscoring 3 quarters yesterday they actually stopped saying which cav scored and just said which assist of LeBron's it was.

"LEBRON WITH HIS 6TH ASSIST! WOW! Oh yeah and that guy Marshall scored on it by the way". Ugh.

As long as it is LA, I am fine with that. Go West young man, Go West.

The Lakers' offseason moves will be telling how series they approach this. No one is untouchable on that roster besides Kobe (and maybe Odom).

Is that the bitter sound of fear for the coming years, I hear? Don't worry Micro, I'm rooting for it too.
