How well do you know the Pistons?

Do you have your finger on the pulse of the Pistons team? Do you really think you know the Pistons, inside and out? If so, you should be able to correctly gauge how they will respond tonight. How will the Pistons perform in Game #2?

Well I ain't no fancy academician with a doctorate degree like SOME people in here who set up these fancy polls but I gave it my best shot and voted anyway.

This is my first poll. Creating a poll is pretty easy. So easy, in fact, even TheeTFD can do it.

Trying to figure out the Pistons, though, is not so easy. Just when I think they're out of it, they usually show up big (hence, my vote in this poll).

These polls really throw me. I have to remember not to vote as both roscoe and micro.

Re: How well do you know the Pistons?

I just want to add that if the Pistons and Heat's shooting percentages would have been the opposite (if the Pistons shot 56% and the Heat shot 37%), then the score would have been Pistons 123, Heat 66... a 57 point margin of victory.

Of course, we would not have continued to push the lead after 25 points or so.

That is why I feel 15 point margin is reasonable.

These polls do NOT know your IP. They know your username.

I'm the only member with two accounts (for technical reasons). I've caught folks trying to set up aliases before. It won't fly. No cheating.

Re: How well do you know the Pistons?

the trickiest thing for me in voting here was trying to gauge how my vote would affect the outcome of the game.

i finally went with 5-10 because i figured if i was being overconfident, then the universe would correct me with a humbling close call victory and if i was being unduly pessimistic, the universe would correct me with a delightful pistons blow-out. (voting for a heat victory was not an option for me because that violates the overriding principle of requisite faith).

see what i mean? it's very very confusing (not to mention tiring) to have so many events in the universe depend on my decisions (so much so that certain events -- for example, ben's free throws in the playoffs -- have been eluding my best efforts to control them.
