Agreed. Tay has been the most consistent Piston by far. Tay #1, Ben #2 and Rip #3 are the reasons why the Pistons are still alive. I've been very disappointed in the play of Sheed and CB.

Totally agree with you, like to make an addition, ie Linsey Hunter, time to time he gave us the difference we needed in this postseason.

Re: Prince is a BEAST

I wrote it somewhere. Tay is not an X-Factor. He is A-Factor. Every game, the other team has to account for him, and as the playoffs progress, you can bet that Riley (and hopefully our Finals opponent ) will be making him a part of their adjustments.

That one sequence when he dribbled in, brought it out and went right back in to score over his man and Shaq late, was huge. We're witnessing tangible growth. Naturally folks will fall of his bandwagon because it's more fun cheering for a guy who never plays, or seems to be holding something back.

I'm not a big fan of Bill Walton, but he was just raving about Prince on ESPNews. Mentioning him as one of the few game changers in the NBA, along w/ Nash, Wade ect...

Re: Prince is a BEAST

He's tied for the best Piston with Chauncey, Rip, and Ben. Sheed is all alone in 5th place.

I have to strongly disagree. Its so hard to chose any individual starter who is the "best" on the team. You could make a serious case for any one of them. But if I had to chose it might be Roscoe aka Elevatorman aka Ra...

Rasheed - He has his streaks, but the biggest threat @ both ends of the floor at any given time.

Ben - Four time DPOY says it all, but his FT% has really hurt us at times

Rip - Best jump shooter (scorer) on the team and in the best shape. Improved his three point shooting dramastically.

C-note - Our leader, tops in the league assist/turn ratio.

Tay - Our most consistant player, growing and getting better every season.

Re: Prince is a BEAST

Prince is more than an x-factor. He is the team MVP. Taken his game to a new level.

We forget sometimes. He is only 26 and is still developing. Don't be surprised if he gets Finals MVP and carries over this level of play into next season. He is more than just playing well, something has changed. Something has clicked into place or he is understanding the game better or something. Knew he had to step it up to make up for the team and he is a better player now.

Re: Prince is a BEAST

I'm not saying Roscoe sucks, but he is the only one that I can't say is the Pistons best player. He's definately a force, but just not as consistent at what he does as the rest. It is really hard ranking the top five.

Tay- Seems to be the reigning +/- leader on the team.
CB- The only Pistons to be considered for league MVP
Ben- Reigning DPOY, Captain, heart of the beast
Rip- Scoring leader for 4 years

Sheed- Gives the team attitude, 2nd best defender at the PF position for the team, stretches the D.

All that being said, we wouldn't have a chance to win the Title without Sheed. Or any of the other players either.
