Why do the Pistons have to make it so hard on themselves every series? Every series they have to make an amazing comeback. Why don't we just step on the others team throat and kill them right there? This team is starting to really tick me off right now

Ron Harper said something earlier in the year about trying to cultivate that instinct to annihilate, but I'm not sure it's possible, for these guys anyway. Collectively, they're too cool, too level-headed.

Guys like Bird, like Isiah, like MJ, they were out to kill. These guys aren't.

. I'm so ticked right now. Pistons better kill the heat in game 4. I'm tired of this why can't we just win games early in the series? We always make it hard on ourselves and it will catch up to us. It killed us against the Spurs last year and it might this series.

Pistons have won 3 their last 8 games. Now they have to double that winning percentage by winning 3 of the next 4. It would be a really good time to flip that switch. There is a switch, right?

Welcome to the forum, Professorspawn. I have no idea why oh why our Pistons look so out of it. I don't go with the bighead theory though. I think they are in an identity crisis. They can't figure out whether they are offensive jumpshot specialists or defensive lockdown ballers. Flip can't figure it out either. So everyone is confused, and chaos is the order of the day. That's my story for today anyway, and I'm sticking to it.
