Nov 13 LW Milan Lucic had an active night. He scored his first goal in eight games since his Oct. 25 hat trick and also pounded Michael Komisarek in a third-period fight. Lucic cut his hand in a fight with Michael Komisarek. "I'll be fine," he said. "(X-rays are) negative, but there's so many broken bones in there from before you can't really tell."

Sometimes it can a little hard to get a real feel for a game just from the reporting.

I think fouls on a whole are way up in the SL compared to the NBA. Guys can get up to 10 fouls in a game before fouling out. And players are taking advantage of the increase.

Players are trying to make a good impression on anyone that will watch. Playing physical, aggressive ball is a great way to get noticed.

I'm sure you're right. For Martin's sake I hope someone other than me is noticing or he's getting a whole load of floor burn for nothing.
