flip murray vs. acker. Its a touch call but I'd go with Acker. The guy has shown he can produce at whatever level he plays at. Bring him up a notch and see if that continues.

When I read that article earlier today it discouraged me. The guy is playing so well, but it seemed like Zierden's comments (although positive on the surface) were just of an obligatory nature. I didn't sense any excitement from him concerning Ackers chances to help the Pistons or even make the squad.

With Joe looking for another guard, I am sensing Deja Vu on the horizon.

Granted, I'm reading a lot into this. Maybe it's just pessimism/ cynicism on my part, but I was really hoping to hear he had a decent shot at making the team.

@ Slippy...I hope you are right on the smokescreen. It's possible.

@TFD...I do too (But I like "Ack Attack" better than "AAA" (Actually, I don't even care if we call him "Ack in the Box" as long as they play him).

alex has been terrific in vegas.we need to keep him.i think he can add more to the team than signing some has been. we do need another back up for cb though
