Mr. Acker

1. Has Acker signed with the Pistons? Last I heard he was playing for a contract and didn't have one this season.

2. Do we have a nickname for Alex Acker?

Apparently we've extended him a "qualifying offer". Don't know exactly what the offer is, but it makes him a restricted free agent rather than an unrestricted free agent. This gives us the right to match any offer that he receives - if we really want to keep him.

Re: Mr. Acker

I don't think Double A will work, it might conflict with people around here.
I like Triple A or AAA for short.

Re: Mr. Acker

I guess if Acker finally delivers at the 2 spot we finally have the same problem the team had last year with Mo and Fino- kind of ironic...

Re: Mr. Acker

I still see Delfino as more of a 3, but that, apparently, is just my take on it.

Acker has been lighting up the VSL.

See this article.
