My only fear is that Dumars will go too far the other way locking up Billups to compensate for losing Ben, and perhaps hooking us up longterm to a combo guard with questionable intangibles.
Good point, something to worry about next spring.

Re: If CB Wants Out of Det/Andre Miller & Camby

I am almost certain that Chauncey will get offered the same deal Ben Wallace was offered if not a little more. The Pistons would be smart to get his deal done before free agency.

Like a lot of you guy's have said you always have one or two stupid teams that offer the farm. The one good thing with all of these teams offering crazy offers is that it takes them out of the free agency market to offer the big pay day for the forseeable future. Looking at all of the signings lately of Lebron, Wade, Mello and Bosh you can probably cross those 4 teams off as suitors as well as teams that have been big players in free agency last year and this year teams like Utah, Atlanta, LA Clippers, Chicago and New Orleans. Also if you take away the teams that already have an established point guard and Chauncey's potential land spot is very limited. I highly doubt Chauncey would want to go to a loser franchise which further limits where he would end up.

Welcome back to North America armygirl!

I see you made a pit stop in the Great White North!

Unless, of course, you were landing in Newfoundland to capture it, in which case

I Hope That Ben Regrets His Move This Year.. But C B Likes Being The Leader. My Big Shot. He Is Not As Unhappy As Ben Nor As Insecure. Maybe He Won't Chump Us Like Ben...

EasyB, your too much!
Cro, nobodies prefect, So CB's very minor weakness' aren't going to negate is value.
1.) Impeccable rep.
2.) Year in year out, BIG GAME player.
3.) So he plays with 4 allstars, that's how it's supposed to be.
4.) Mr Big Shot! need I say more.
5.) So he and his (allstars) punked out against the eventual champs.
... BITE ME !!!
6.) There were coaching skill issues. Were there not?
7.) ArmyG can bite me too. She's been getting very casual with these trade ideas. I let her slide because she's protecting me from terrorist.

Wasn't too big against the Cavs or Heat. Or the Spurs in game 7 of the 2005 Finals either.

I would like to make this clear. Rasheed Wallace only made the All-Star team because an All-Star was injured, and Tayshaun Prince has never been an All-Star despite all of the rhetoric that the Pistons starting 5 were all All-Stars.

I'm starting to feel guilty about beating you up, so this one can slide.

Flip is the Chauncey Billups coach. If any player should take heat for the shortcomings of the coach, I would say it should be Billups.

You let her slide because she's my big sister, and we all need big sisters.

Rasheed Wallace only made the All-Star team because an All-Star was injured, and Tayshaun Prince has never been an All-Star despite all of the rhetoric that the Pistons starting 5 were all All-Stars. That's right all our allstars are weak as allstars go. What about BBeen and Rip? Almost allstars.

Flip is the Chauncey Billups coach. If any player should take heat for the shortcomings of the coach, I would say it should be Billups. They both stuck to their guns. Let's give them another try. Besides CB was tired.

You let her slide because she's my big sister, and we all need big sisters.
Like I said, Bite Me.

Re: If CB Wants Out of Det/Andre Miller & Camby

What is with all this biting. I'm not biting anyone. But I could slap ya upside your head, if you really want me to. I think chauncy will stay, especially when he sees what is going to happen to Ben. CB may want to have his number retired here. He may want to be remembered somewhere as Mr big shot. He has played for 6 or 7 teams. We will see what happens but don't assume the worst.
