Jai Lewis Anyone?

Sunday's Washington Post had a feature on Jai Lewis/George Mason University, decided not to join the NY Giants Training Camp because his heart is in basketball.

Now the guy is 6-5, 305lbs. He has a seriously sweet short jumper and soft hands. The problem is; he is too heavy to play SF and to short to play center.

Should Joe D at least bring him into training camp to take a look at him. He is a small beast.

Re: Jai Lewis Anyone?

It would be wise to room him with Cheikh Samb.

I think Maxiell is that small beast too, but it wouldn't hurt to bring him into training camp. Right?

I don't know if that would work. I can imagine a scenario where Saunders is running around searching for Cheikh, can't find him, and then questions Jai about it. Jai says, "Oh, the skinny guy? I ate him."

Re: Jai Lewis Anyone?

It would be good to have a Mahorn type enforcer.

I find it very difficult to rebound against players that are >300 lbs... no matter how short they are.

LOL.

Maybe he ate him. Or maybe they were just playing a friendly game of
"Jai and go Cheikh".

Re: Jai Lewis Anyone?

Perhaps Detroit needs to explore both Lewis and Chiekh.
