Winless, I don't think that million would bother the team paying it. Look at the millions and millions the Pistons are paying out to players who don't play.

I guess it is just a 'cost of doing business'. The Pistons should just dump half of their players and be able to pay the remaining ones the salaries that they are saving !!!

I doubt it. We got big guys here too. Hehe, maybe on the point guards. But he ain't get past SOME of the big guys.

So I really don't know what to expect of him. Maybe he will find a jumpshot somewhere.

Or a really wicked post game.

Re: Darvin Ham

PBA is all half-court and layup drills. The imports seem to act as out-of-place Kobe wannabees... ball hogging and putting up too many shots.

I pray Darvin brings his piston DNA... and plays tenacious D. that would certainly be a hoot!

Post game?

Jumpshot?

I think Gary Coleman has better chance at winning a celebrity dunk contest.

Darwin Ham isn't afraid to dunk on a big, but Grim is right...his best contribution should be with hustle play and defense...as well as an occasional facial.

Re: Darvin Ham

Yup Grim is mostly right.

That's why I'm curious how Darvin Ham will be productive in the PBA.

I doubt if he can ever find a jumpshot or even a little post game.

Plus he'll be up against an import as well.

Hehe, who knows, he could be running the floor pulling up for threes in transition and spinning circles in the post?

Re: Darvin Ham

He was out of game shape.

7-19 from the field for 16 points in his first game here. He wanted to dunk over everybody but he would get roughed up, go to the line, and miss free throws.

7 turnovers too.

But he got the boards, 14 of them.

If he doesn't develop that jumper and awesome post game Ham die-hards imagine him to have then his team will be eliminated from the playoffs here.

Bric,

Keep us updated on D. Ham.
