MASON

Now taht Im sorta getting warmed up for the season, something more important than anything popped in my mind? In what order will Mason introduce the starting lineup? Here's how I see it:

1. Tay
2. Sheed
3. that guy at center
4. Rip
5. and the other guard, 6'2 wearing the red white blue Number 1,
" CHAUN-SEEEEEEEEE B-B-B-B-BILLUPS!!"

Re: MASON

Man, I'm gonna miss Mason's intro for Big Ben. How can you not get fired up after that?

YouTube - pistons intros

A bit of Mason talking about how some of his catch phrases started.

YouTube - Detroit Pistons PA Announcer - John Mason

Re: MASON

How will he introduce Nazr...any thoughts. I will miss the gong, I guess they will have to come up with something else now. Leave it to Mason, he is brilliant.

So smoking was really about lighting fires? This is all getting a little too Freudian.

nope. you are probably mixing some things up. Mason quit his job on 105.9. He did not quit his job as a Pison announcer.
