I saw that a little bit a go. Hollinger is stupid. Even if it's fantasy sports I would not mind having Tay on my team since he'll get you numbers all over the boxscore.

Frankly, this kind of pursuit, i.e. ranking first to worst, is a waste of time since b-ball is a team sport last I heard. Can't believe Tay is down at 19 though. Artest is behind Tay!

Chill? Is that your weak attempt at being contemporary, Lee? It is still Hollinger's little formula. It is something those shucksters at ESPN put some stock in. I think it's a bad reflection of what someone means to a team.

That's what we are saying. Hollinger's methods are far from the truth. It doesn't even do good for fanatasy games so it's useless.

Re: ESPN John Hollinger's ranks best to worst

any system that rates Tayshaun Prince and Ron Artest worse than Travis Outlaw, Peja Stojakovic, and Hedo Turkoglu is worthless.

except in the Bizarro NBA. but then again, in the Bizarro NBA, Shaq plays PG.

Re: ESPN John Hollinger's ranks best to worst

Any ranking list it made to make people talk about the things being ranked. The more ridiculous it is...the more people talk about it. All it basically proves is the the people are ranked according to some arbitrary stat system which as himat pointed out...has no value in the real world...or in the fantasy world.

He is running it though a forumla and thats what the results are.

Eddie Curry is ranked 2 places higher than Ben. Jameer Nelson is 1 below Chauncy.

Means nothing.
