Hate to dog on a free gift, but this broadcast blows. They're barely showing the court...they're too ...

open practice broadcast = worthless

Hate to dog on a free gift, but this broadcast blows. They're barely showing the court...they're too busy doing interviews and showing features. Not quite what I was hoping for.

It's like they offered free ice cream to us and gave us only a sample scoop once we got there. They look at us compassionatelessly and say, "Go home now. It's time for Seventh Heaven to start."

Yes but with 8 minutes left, I now know that I can get Pink hats, and I also feel like I am an expert on every event coming to the Palace over the next 12 years.

LOL.

This was a blatant pimp session.

I'll wait for UncleTy's (Tyskillz) report.

Dissapointing

Showed about 2 minutes of the players actually playing.

Well, Blaha talked to Chris McCoskey for a while. And then we saw a feature about Ronald Dupree's "Flight of Champions" down to New Orleans, and then George talked to Dale Davis for a while, then they cut to the basketball court for a second, then they showed a feature about Rip and his hometown [i think...i left during this part], then George interviewed Chauncey. Then it was over.

Occassionally, they would show some live basketball drills/scrimmage. Also, you could watch the action over Blaha's shoulder as he hosted the show and conducted interviews. Although, I can only vouch for the last 40 minutes. Maybe the first 20 were entirely about the practice.

...but i doubt it.

Man, that broadcast sucked more than the San Francisco Men's Chorus.

Dale Davis has to be the worst interview I have ever heard. He had to be lead on each question and repeated himself a lot. I did get the impression that Davis thought he would be getting some regular minutes, which should complicate the rotation if Darko is also supposed to get minutes.

I like him, but I would much rather have heard an interview with Dice on his knee, Ben on his offseason program etc.

Was it just me or did Sheed still look a little "full" and Prince basically the same size?

I really liked how they kept talking about how Maxiell was so good and showed little of him (1 shot) or Acker/Johnson.

Oh well. What do you want for free... LOL.

Sheed

By "full" did you mean fat? I heard he was 20lbs lighter and in great shape?

Practice

In one of the few players they did show Delfino and he looked like he had some hops driving to the baskett.

I would have been more peeved at that shame of a practice coverage . AS I did not tune in to see more Katrina coverage and McCoskys fat face if there was not a game later today.

But there is so we will see all the progress these guys have made in a few hours.
