Chris McCoskey is on FIRE @ Hoopsworld

I heard on WDFN that Chris would be writing for Bill Ingram and the boys at Hoopsworld.

Well it has happened.

Btw, Hoopsworld finally scrapped their Total Access subscription program (although I am still waiting for my refund), which means that their content is now free, and while some of the writers are amateurs, others are very good and you can find LOTS to read everyday. Check it out.

Thanks Roscoe... I paid for a one year subscription and have been reading it for free since... apparently they're not bookkeepers :^)
Ol' McCoskey is broadening his horizons huh?
It sounded like he ran those Taylor comments by Flip.\ and got some anonymous feedback... or he's got a good imagination.

Re: Chris McCoskey is on FIRE @ Hoopsworld

Chris gets a bad rap because almost everything he writes regarding potential controversy is usually pro-organization, but if you have listened to him on the radio, he's very knowledgeable, plugged in and candid.

I imagine that his day job probably has some dictates he has to respect. We all answer to someone, and in this case, it seems to be his editor.

Hopefully Bill Ingram gives him some more room to operate. His piece on the Zero Tolerance rule is excellent.

"Michael Jordan is a better GM than Joe Dumars will ever be and Dumars is so clueless it's like he's stuck in an ivory tower."

Ok, that's not a direct quote, but that's the gist of Mr. Knowledgeable and Plugged In.

You never read the Ivory Tower article? It was the summing up article he wrote after Dumars first season as GM.

How the hell do you cut and paste something here? Right click doesn't work. If I can figure out I'll post the article.

It was a rhetorical question.

The "gist" of my earlier post was that Chris' shouldn't be judged exclusively on his work in print. His best work is done live and on air.

So he just saves his complete and total stupidity for the majority of his audience?

And why is gist in quotes?
