| Re: Maxiell ahead of Dyess Not to contradict my vote, but JMax is currently leading the Pistons in production/min and Roland Rating. The time that he has spent on the floor has been about as good as it gets. I would say that you keep expanding his role and keep him in shape. What happened to the monster dunks that he was throwing down during the pre-season though? |

| Re: Maxiell ahead of Dyess From what I have seen, the Pistons have not got their transition game going.
__________________ Nov 13 LW Milan Lucic had an active night. He scored his first goal in eight games since his Oct. 25 hat trick and also pounded Michael Komisarek in a third-period fight. Lucic cut his hand in a fight with Michael Komisarek. "I'll be fine," he said. "(X-rays are) negative, but there's so many broken bones in there from before you can't really tell." |

| Re: Maxiell ahead of Dyess Emotionally I'm like Go Brahma, More Brahma, but logically I know that Dyess' experience makes him more of a solid contributor. While we like what the Brahma does and get excited about what he can do eventually, right now his mental game is light years behind Dyess'. Defensively Max hasn't yet gotten comfortable with the schemes and rotations, not that Dyess is great at either one, Dyess just knows the game more. We can only hope that Max's desire to learn the game is just as hungry as his desire to play the game. |

| Re: Maxiell ahead of Dyess Let's not underestimate the devestating effect of getting in the bonus. JMax was a big part of that last night. The Pistons shot a ton of free throws and it kept them in the game in the 4th quarter. Since Jason is an average to poor free throw shooter, we need to put him in the beginnings of quarters to get us to the bonus. Once we are in, then put in the better FT shooters. |

i think mcdyess always starts the year off slowly and then when that midrange j starts falling look out. he was missing plenty of easy shots against utah but i will say he was making good moves in the post. he's also rebounding very well and that tip dunk he had got me out of my seat. |
