It probably won't matter because he will be looking for another job and having to deal with the criticism of not developing X, Y and Z.

Btw, I read today that LB is in love with Nate Robinson. I wonder how long that will last?

Lucic cut his hand in a fight with Michael Komisarek. "I'll be fine," he said. "(X-rays are) negative, but there's so many broken bones in there from before you can't really tell."

I think of guys like A.I. and Dalembert to name just a few.

Yeah they appreciate him now that he's gone, they dont have to listen to his bs.

I personally think that this Brown teaching thing is way over done. There is no doubt in my mind that Brown and his staff taught Darko some things like positioning on the floor, rotating on defense etc, but it is my opinion that Darko has learned more from his fellow players and practicing against them day in and day out than he did from Brown.

Some people respond better to tough love and some to tender love. I think Darko definitely responds better to tender love which means he will learn more under a coach that builds him up like Flip as opposed to one who constantly tears him down like Brown.

So far the facts on the floor are supporting this opinion.

I don't like LB's way of leaving either, but if you're claiming facts then you have to account for them all.

* Darko is 20 now instead of 18, which means huge strides physically and mentally.
* He had a full summer of work for the first time in three seasons.
* He gained confidence by earning the right to play for his country, while vindicating himself in the basketball community he grew up in.
* He comes back more at ease with the customs, language & team.
* And yeah, he has a coach who's rewarding him with PT.

Let's not make Flip the sole cause or Larry the sole problem. The kid is growing up and we can only hope the Pistons make the most of it.

LanierFan You Make Good Points

I apologize if my intent was misleading.

My intent was not so much to credit Flip and discredit Brown though I it is easy to see how what I wrote could be interpreted that way.

The point that I was trying to make is that Darko has learned a lot over the past two years and a lot of that was not from Brown but from others like his teammates and Piston assitant coaches. That was the main point that I was trying to make.

Darko said Browns yelling and screeming never bothered him because his coach in Serbia was 10X tougher. He just wanted to play. It bothered him being the human victory cigar.
