Amen. A combo guard scorer who could actually score. I'm not sure why we didn't bring him back to begin with. He played great towards during the regular season when we picked him up. He didn't do much in the playoffs because he didn't play. If we weren't going to get someone better (Which I thought we would untill Ben left), then it was a no-brainer.

I thought Delk opted out to become a free agent. He wanted to play more minutes and thought he would be able to do that elsewhere.

Re: Flip Murray

At least Jenkins could push the ball and make the occasional shot.

Lindsey will be back eventually, and he can handle 10-15 minutes per game in short spurts. And I think Blalock was much, much better when he was a short-minutes backup behind CB with Murray falling out of the rotation.

Penny and Tim Hardaway want to get back into the league, but I have no idea how good they are, and they probably wouldn't be any better defensively than Murray. Kukoc might be willing to sign, but he's in the same condition.

Good call... we won't have to hear the pining for Blalock all season... in fairness I hope he gets a couple more games to make a case... anyone heard a recent update on Chauncey?

My people inform me that he still likes to go by the name Big Shot.
