Okay Hint. He played in the same backcourt with Eric "on the" Money.

Re: Tonight's Piston Trivia Question

I had to look it up. So I won't answer the question, but I will ad that Eric Money was drafted 7 players before George Gervin. Must have been pretty cool to watch the Iceman tear it up for the Hurons.

Re: Tonight's Piston Trivia Question

I knew that Chris Ford hit the first 3 in NBA history, but I didn't know he had played for the Pistons. He was with the Celtics when he hit that first 3, at the beginning of the '79-80 season.

Re: Tonight's Piston Trivia Question

I got it correct, but only after the Eric Money hint. Good question.

Re: Tonight's Piston Trivia Question

You guys are old. When Gervin was in his prime, I was 11 years old. I practiced my finger roll like crazy. Unfortunately for me, I was only about 4 1/2 tall, and didn't have major hops, so my finger roll was easily blocked.

For the past 10 years, (before moving to Seattle) I drove by The Iceman's Alma Matter, MLK High on Lafayette Ave. visions of smooth scoring danced through my head as I negotiated the morning traffic.

To all you Hurons, to all you MLK grads, to all Detroiters... three cheers for the Iceman!

Which three Piston players appeared in all 82 regular season games last year?

Re: Tonight's Piston Trivia Question

Oh, maybe Jarvis played in all 82 games. Him instead of Dice?
