I still think he would be better at the point though. He does all the defensive plays you could ask from him. The only reason he isn't getting ripped apart is because his jumper is going in. Who says he won't go in another slump. If he's used at the point he would be able to provide on both sides of the court consistantly. Jumper or no jumper.
